Allison Fiscus is the Executive Director of the Utah Pork Producers Association (UPPA) and works from her home office in Riverton, Utah. Allison joined UPPA in 2010.  She is responsible for budgeting, writing grants and cost shares to supplement programs in the areas of promotion, communication and education. She also manages the UPPA website.

UPPA works closely with pork producers, youth and adults throughout the state. UPPA programs focus on consumer education about new temperature guidelines and identifying the proper cuts for cooking pork by giving cooking classes and offering lunch and learn presentations. UPPA gives back to communities across the state throughout year with a variety of outreach programs.

Allison has implemented a youth pork academy that is a daylong conference with hands-on activities for all young pork producers. She gives healthy eating classes to groups of all ages. Allison works closely with the state fair and offers cooking demonstrations at the fair along with other UPPA promotional programs. UPPA is represented at fairs throughout the state educating consumers about the farm-to-fork concept and where there food comes from.

Prior to joining UPPA, Allison owned a small business for several years. She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Allison and her husband are the parents of three children and a wonderful granddaughter.  Allison has a small farm where she raises miniature donkeys and sheep.
